Piazza Rucellai, prospiciente a via della Vigna a Firenze, è il luogo dove American Apparel apre il suo secondo punto vendita in Italia. Il progetto consiste nell’adattare il conpcet abbastanza flessibile al luogo. La complessità di questo lavoro risiede nel seguire le varie maestranze nelle fasi di realizzazione. Avendo poco tempo a disposizione per la consegna del negozio con date già stabilite, i vari lavori avevano tutti dei tempi già preordinati. Il difficile è stato superare i vari inconvenienti che in ogni cantiere avvengono permettendo che tutto il processo arrivasse al termine come previsto.
The apartment revolves around a large central room used as a living room kitchen, the bedrooms open onto this space, and each has its own bathroom. The building was formerly used for the processing of the meat, and then the project has sought to achieve the necessary rooms such as toilets, without changing the size of nineteenth-century building. We tried to recover where it was possible in the old floor tiles cement mixed color white, black and red, also keeping the design of the rooms, the middle room instead was carried out in glittery gray cement. The bathrooms feature a mosaic covering the celestial Opium Sicis opaque and transparent glass to dark red. The walls and wooden beams have been painted white. The floor of the kitchen in stone treated with recessed sink and ceramic hobs provided support.
